LUMBERTON, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Blind and visually impaired athletes can take big swings at greatness with the Middle Atlantic Blind Golf Association (MABGA) .
MABGA hosts golf outings across the Delaware Valley throughout the year in addition to hosting an annual fundraising tournament.
Golfers are aided by coaches who help align their shots and aim for the hole. Some athletes may count their steps between the ball and the hole to make the best shot. Some coaches shake the flag pole or provide audio cues to point golfers in the right direction.
But apart from golf, they also teach life lessons on the green.
The co-ed program serves blind or visually impaired athletes ages 7-21. Their clinics and outings are free to participate.
Today, they held an event at Golden Pheasant Golf Clu
