Carnival Cruise Line is making it clear for those arriving late to the table. Either show up on time for your assigned dinner seating or expect to be turned away. Guests who miss their assigned seating time in the main dining room may be redirected to the Lido buffet instead.

In his Facebook video posted Thursday, Carnival's brand ambassador, John Heald, addressed a recent passenger complaint about being denied entry to the main dining room after arriving 35 minutes late. Heald praised the Carnival Pride dining team for enforcing the policy, saying it protects both staff and fellow guests from unnecessary disruption.
