ANN ARBOR — Quentin Moore is “doing well” at a local hospital, according to Washington head coach Jedd Fisch.
Moore, a veteran tight end, was carted off the Michigan Stadium field Saturday in the second quarter of Michigan’s 24-7 win .
He was one of the punt protectors during Washington’s punt with 10:38 left in the second quarter and went down after blocking a Michigan defensive player. He was face down on the field for a time before a cart came and took him through the stadium’s tunnel. He was strapped to a stretcher with his helmet still on, though the face mask and chin strap had been removed.
Two other Washington players suffered injuries Saturday and did not return.
