With Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts coming to town, the Minnesota Vikings have made a move that should allow them to perform much better against the Philadelphia Eagles’ running game than they’ve done against the run early on in this 2025 NFL season.

The team has announced that they have activated linebacker Blake Cashman from injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s contest at U.S. Bank Stadium, and he is in line to step back into his starting role in the Minnesota defense.

Cashman hasn’t played since the season opener, as he suffered a hamstring injury while attempting to chase down Bears’ quarterback Caleb Williams.
