NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Six teenagers have been arrested after they were found driving in two stolen vehicles with a pistol inside each car.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the teens were arrested Saturday morning after being spotted by Violent Crimes Division detectives.

The detectives reportedly spotted a stolen Hyundai Elantra driving through Antioch neighborhoods. The Hyundai was then joined by a Kia Soul briefly before the cars separated. MNPD said detectives disabled the Hyundai on Murfreesboro Pike at Bell Road and arrested the 15-year-old driver, who was armed with a pistol with an extended magazine.

Per MNPD, the Hyundai was reported stolen on Friday. The 15-year-old driving it was charged in Juvenile Court with vehicle theft, evading arrest, and juvenile
