BOILING SPRINGS, S.C. —

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says two people are dead after a crash Saturday morning.

Troopers say it happened around 3 a.m. when an SUV was traveling east on Old Furnace Road. They say the car went off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, overturned, and then hit a tree.

The coroner has not released the name of the victims. Stay with us as we continue to learn more.
