No Kings rallies, a protest movement opposing the actions and policies of President Donald Trump’s administration, were planned in cities and towns across the country Saturday, and Northern Colorado is no exception.
A few thousand people, according to a volunteer and a rough count by the Reporter-Herald, packed the areas on either side of Eisenhower Boulevard on Saturday afternoon, holding signs, playing music and often wearing animal costumes, a new development in the protest movement against the Trump administration after people dressed in inflatable costumes protested Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, in Portland earlier this fall.
