WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita man was hospitalized and another arrested following a stabbing early Saturday.
It happened around 10 a.m. on North Broadway near 12th Street.
Wichita police responded to a report of a cutting and found a 40-year-old man with a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A 39-year-old suspect was found nearby and taken into custody. The stabbing followed a fight between the two men, police said.
The suspect was arrested and booked for attempted second-degree murder.
This case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for formal charges, police said.
