GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - It was all about the food and the fun at this weekend’s 50th Annual Apple Harvest and Musical Festival in Glastonbury.
This year’s festival took place at Riverfront Park from Oct. 17 to Oct. 19.
There were rides for the kids, dozens of handmade craft vendors, and musical performances. They also had 50 bands scheduled to play throughout the weekend.
A big focus was on the food. There were classic fall favorites from apple pies to ice cream to fried dough.
Dude’s Donuts was flooded with customers all day on Saturday.
They sold over 1,400 of their famous apple cider donuts.
“It’s just phenomenal. Everyone knows us around here. They know who we are so it’s just wonderful that they all come,” said Ann Christiansen, from Dude’s Donuts.
