PHILADELPHIA — When the moment called for someone to make a play Saturday, Episcopal Academy’s Brody Garrison made two.
With the score tied late in an Inter-Ac thriller at Penn Charter, the Quakers were driving for what they hoped would be a game-winning field goal try. Garrison had other plans, jumping a Nate Hartman pass to came down with an interception at the Penn Charter 39-yard line with 1:02 to go.
One play later, All-Delco wideout Jackson Orcutt went up over a defender to haul in a jump ball from quarterback Jackson Solley, his eighth catch of the day, setting Episcopal up at the 3-yard line with 30 seconds to play.
That’s when Garrison switched hats. Lining up in the wildcat, he took the snap, followed his blockers and bulldozed his way into the end zone for the go-ahead touchd
