U.S. Marshals arrested a Cedar City man Saturday on a kidnapping warrant tied to a July domestic dispute, weeks before he’s due to be sentenced in a federal fraud case.

According to court records, 35-year-old Blake Floyd Cozzens was taken into custody Oct. 18 and booked into Purgatory Correctional Facility on a warrant issued three days earlier.

Cozzens is facing charges for kidnapping, a second-degree felony; domestic-violence assault, a Class B misdemeanor; damage or interruption of a communication device, a Class B misdemeanor; and domestic violence in the presence of a child, also a Class B misdemeanor.
