LUBBOCK, Texas -- According to a press release, the Lubbock Police Department's Major Crash Unit is investigating a crash that happened Saturday morning in West Lubbock that left two people seriously injured.

According to the release, LPD were called to the intersection of 19th Street and Upland Avenue at 8:51 a.m. for a collision with injuries. Through the investigation, it appears that a pickup truck. driven by 31-year-old Dakota Holder, was traveling west on 19th Street, where Holder ignored a red light and collided with a SUV, driven by 30-year-old Brady McLellan, that was travelling north on Upland Avenue.

Holder sustained minor injuries and McLellan was not injured, however McLellan's passengers, Katie McLellan, 30 and a 3-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries and were tran
