WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Protesters participated in the second “No Kings” protest in Wichita on Saturday, coinciding with similar demonstrations that took place in all 50 states.
Thousands of protesters lined the streets in downtown Wichita carrying signs and speaking out against actions and immigration policies made by President Donald Trump’s administration.
“The fact that people are being dragged away from their homes and their families, that’s not what America is for,” said Jenny McCullough, a protester. “I just feel like right now is so important. It’s the most important time that we can speak up, use our voices and fight for democracy.”
