EMPORIA, Kan. (KWCH) - An Emporia man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of arson after a car was intentionally set on fire.
Early Saturday morning at 5:28 a.m., the Emporia Fire Department responded to a vehicle on fire in the area of W. South Ave. and Neosho St. Fire crews were able to put the fire out.
Investigators determined that the vehicle fire was intentionally set
Miguel Solorio Renterio was arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with this incident. The case has been referred to the Lyon County Attorney’s Office for formal charges.
