Srinagar: Police on Saturday apprehended Seventeen (17) long-time absconders from Srinagar, Pulwama, Ganderbal, Kulgam, Shopian districts & PD Sopore. These individuals had been evading arrest for years, some for over three decades.

According to a police statement issued here on Saturday in Srinagar police teams apprehended six long-term absconders, some of whom had been evading arrest for over a decade. Notable arrests include Mehraj-ud-Din Marazi, who had been absconding for 11 years under the NDPS Act, and Habibulla Bhat, who had evaded arrest for 27 years related to a case under the RPC.
