At one point, the US women's sitting volleyball national team trailed Brazil by two sets and were down by four points in the third set of their finals matchup Saturday.

By the end of the night, the American national anthem was playing and the team that was on the cusp of being swept was being named champion.

The US women’s national team came all the way back to beat Brazil 24-26, 20-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-12 in the ParaVolley World Cup Finals at Turnstone's Plassman Athletic Center.

Emma Schieck led the US with 21 points, including 15 attacks, three blocks and three service aces. Nicole Nievens added 15 points with 11 attacks.
