BELMONT COUNTY, W.V. (WTRF) -- Dog owners across Belmont County had the chance to bring their pups to a pet-friendly fall fest during the David M. Lucas Dog Park’s Canine Fall Festival.

Folks and furry friends alike could check out everything from vendors and raffles to on-site trainers and costume contests.

Project coordinator Sherri Vantassel says it was wonderful to host a fest that showcases the dog park and invites people to take part in a nice community event.

To see so many people coming out and enjoying it and seeing people come from out of town – who see it for the first time and say ‘I wish we had one of these in our community’ - it’s just a great way to enjoy the bigger park, which is Fox Shannon.”
