LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky drops their ninth straight SEC game in a heartbreaking overtime loss against Texas at Kroger Field on Saturday Night 16-13. The Wildcat defense held Texas quarterback Arch Manning to 132 yards and no touchdowns. Kentucky failed to capitalize on multiple opportunities inside the 30 including in overtime which ended up costing the Wildcats the game.

The offense struggled tonight against a strong Texas defense. Quarterback Cutter Boley was a highlight overall completing 31/39 of his passes, he also gained 45 yards on the ground with a touchdown in the game. Running back Seth McGowan had 14 carries on the ground for 45 yards, averaging 3.2 yards per carry, he also led the team in receiving with seven catches for 68 yards.
