Ava Cao recorded one goal and two assists to lead second-seeded Cranford past 10th-seeded Elizabeth 4-1 in the Union County Tournament quarterfinals in Cranford.

Cranford (10-2-1) led 3-0 at halftime before both sides scored a goal in the second half.

Vanessa Kelly made 11 saves for Cranford.

Olivia Felix scored for Elizabeth (10-7) off an assist from Giovanna Echavarria.

Cranford won its eighth straight game and moved to 9-1-1 in its last 11.

Cranford will face sixth-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood in the semifinals next Saturday.
