100 Years Ago, 1925: More than 1,200 men representing Holy Name Societies from eight Roman Catholic churches in Delaware County attended a parade and rally yesterday afternoon as the guests of St. Joseph’s Church, Collingdale. Among churches represented in the parade were St. Charles of Clifton Heights; Blessed Virgin Mary of Darby; Holy Spirit of Sharon Hill; St. George of Glenolden; St. Gabriel of Norwood; St. Margaret Mary of Essington; Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Morton; St. Madeline of Ridley Park; and St. Joseph of Collingdale.
