Michael Owen has praised Harvey Elliott as 'a very good player' but revealed why he wouldn't have him in the England squad just yet.
Elliott would have expected to have been on the cusp of a senior breakthrough after his starring role for the Young Lions last summer.
The 22-year-old was named the player of the tournament as Lee Carsley 's side earned a second consecutive European title in Slovakia.
