BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — While Indiana took down Michigan State inside Memorial Stadium, Hoosiers were also celebrating outside during homecoming weekend.

Not just for today, but for this historic season as they climb in the national rankings every week. IU is ranked No. 3 in the AP Top 25 poll , which is the highest ranking in school history.

"I feel like I am in the prime of IU—100%," IU sophomore Chelsey Flores said. "They're really accelerating, especially with Curt Cignetti."

Lucie Stewart watched the game nearby. She is a junior at IU and said head coach Curt Cignetti's new contract through 2033 gives Hoosiers something to look forward to for years to come.

"I'm so happy, because even when I'm an alumni, I'll come back and we'll still be winning cause he makes a good team," Stewart sa
