A man has been arrested after a series of incidents in Saltash . The arrest was made yesterday evening (Saturday, October 18).

Saltash Police said it was aware of a number of social media posts regarding incidents yesterday. Responding on Facebook , the police team revealed that a man was arrested and remains in custody.

The male was arrested on suspicion of two thefts from a motor vehicle . Another burglary is being investigated, although it is not clear if it is linked.

Police has asked for anyone with any information or footage that would assist in enquiries to contact the force on 101. The team also advised vehicle owners to make sure they are locked and valuables removed.
