LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Thousands across WAVE country took to the streets for another round of ‘No Kings’ protests, against what some call increasingly authoritarian actions by the Trump Administration.

The rallies are part of a day of action unfolding in over 2,700 cities and towns, in what organizers tell NBC marked the largest single-day nationwide demonstrations in U.S. history.

In Louisville, protestors marched with signs in hand, calling actions of the Trump Administration ‘authoritarian’ and an overstep on constitutional rights.

In Jeffersonville, Indiana, hundreds gathered along Court Street.

People who attended the rally tell WAVE News they believe the big turnouts have been driven by the escalation of events since June, including an ongoing government shutdown and deployment
