LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The ALERT DAY continues Sunday due to falling temperatures and wind gusts approaching 40 MPH at times. Showers remain in the forecast throughout the day.

After starting in the 60s this morning, we’ll tumble into the 50s by the afternoon. Showers move out and skies quickly clear Sunday night as chilly air settles in. Lows fall into the 30s and 40s overnight. A steady and lighter breeze will keep frost from developing in the colder spots
