Three men have been charged following a pitch invasion which took aim at Gary Neville during Salford City FC's match with Oldham .

The game with Oldham Athletic on Saturday (October 18) stopped as several men stormed onto the pitch wearing hoodies with ' Gary Neville is a traitor' written on the back. Far-right group Britain First claimed credit, saying they 'teamed up with local Salford patriots'.

It comes after the ex-Manchester United defender and Salford City owner revealed earlier this month that he removed a British flag from one of his developments because he believed it was used in a 'negative fashion'. Mr Neville has been criticised for the decision.
