A group of unemployed youth in Telangana has decided to contest the Jubilee Hills bypoll, citing frustration over the Congress government's delay in issuing job notifications. They have presented 30 demands, including recruitment drives and unemployment benefits.
Hyderabad: Vexed with the Telangana Congress government over non-release of job notifications, a large number of unemployed youth on Tuesday decided to file nominations for the Jubilee Hills bypoll .
The unemployed youth put forth 30 demands, including issuance of 5,944 GPO posts, 16,000 SI and police constable positions and 25,000 teacher vacancies via the DSC before announcement of the local body elections.
