Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar has challenged BRS MLA T. Harish Rao to swear before a deity at Siddipet temple over his Cabinet-related allegations. He condemned Rao’s ‘Dandupalyam’ comparison as offensive and reiterated that the Cabinet meeting centred on welfare and social development.

Karimnagar: Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar challenged BRS MLA T Harish Rao to come to the Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Siddipet and swear before the deity regarding his claims on recent Cabinet discussions. He asked Harish Rao to fix the date and said he was ready to meet on any day.

Condemning Harish Rao’s remarks likening the Cabinet to ‘Dandupalyam’, Laxman Kumar said it was insulting to Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Class (BC) and marginalised section members in the Cabinet.
