MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota Vikings linebacker Blake Cashman will be on the field Sunday for the first time since the season opener in Chicago.
The Eden Prairie native was activated Saturday following a four-week stint on injured reserve after injuring his hamstring while trying to run down Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.
"When he's out there and we're playing the type of defense that we've been accustomed to seeing, Blake's got a lot to do with that," Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday when Cashman's 21-day practice window was opened. "So very excited to get him back."
