MINNEAPOLIS — The Eagles are preparing to play the Vikings short-handed at edge rusher. But that glaring issue could change in a matter of days thanks to a franchise legend.

Former Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham is “strongly considering” coming out of retirement, according to a Sunday morning report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter .

Schefter reported that Graham and the Eagles could finalize a contract this week.

Graham, who played 15 consecutive seasons in Philadelphia and became the longest-tenured Eagle in franchise history, retired in March after winning his second Super Bowl.

But following Za’Darius Smith’s abrupt retirement earlier this week, Graham might come back and provide some much-needed help off the edge to his former team.
