Former India pacer Varun Aaron has supported the inclusion of Kuldeep Yadav in India’s playing XI for the second ODI against Australia at Adelaide Oval on October 23. Aaron believes that the left-arm wrist-spinner offers the attacking threat that India missed during their defeat in the first match at Perth.

Aaron suggested that Washington Sundar could be replaced by Kuldeep, given the need for more wicket-taking options in the middle overs. He stated, “I would play Kuldeep Yadav in place of Washington Sundar. If you look at it, both Washington and Axar (Patel) are more defensive bowlers in white-ball cricket. They focus on building pressure rather than attacking."
