A Nebraska zoo has expanded its animal family by one.

The Lincoln Children’s Zoo announced the birth of a Matschie’s tree kangaroo through a Facebook post on Oct. 16.

According to the animal establishment, the joey is "one of only three born this year in AZA-accredited zoos," referring to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums .
