The River Walk in Capreol has caught the eye of the judges with Communities in Bloom.

As a result, Capreol is the Communities in Bloom winner of the National Population – Up to 5,000 category. They received a rating of 5 Blooms – Silver, and a special mention for The River Walk during the 2025 National/International Symposium and Awards Ceremonies in Stratford, Ont.

Capreol also received an Outstanding Achievement Award for the Heritage Conservation Award.
