Music director and filmmaker Palash Muchhal has sparked fresh buzz about his relationship with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana, saying she will “soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore.”

Rumours about the duo’s relationship have been circulating for a while, fuelled by their frequent appearances together in social media posts. However, both have consistently remained tight-lipped about their personal equation.

Speaking at an event at the State Press Club on Friday, Muchhal — a native of Indore — was asked about his connection with Mandhana and fond memories involving her. Smiling, he said, “She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore… that’s all I want to say.”
