In City Council District 3, candidates are focused on budgets, housing

The race for Fort Collins City Council District 3 is centered on the city budget and on housing policy.

Two of the three candidates, Josh Fudge and Lance Smith, have government budgeting experience, and the third candidate, Steve Yurash, lists budget transparency as a top priority.

But housing is still a big issue in this race, with Fudge and Smith supporting policies that allow for more housing, while Yurash is opposed to more growth.
