WEST HOMESTEAD, Pa. —
One person was killed after being hit by a train in West Homestead Saturday night.
A spokesperson from CSX told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that at 11:18 p.m., a CSX train came in contact with a trespasser on the tracks near West 5th Avenue and Waterfront Drive. Advertisement
Allegheny County dispatchers were notified, and officials responded to the scene.
The spokesperson said officials later reported that the individual was "fatally injured."
CSX said no train crew members were injured.
