A convincing win over Washington on Saturday pushed Michigan back into the Top 25 of the Associated Press college football poll.

The Wolverines (5-2, 3-1 Big Ten), unranked last week, beat the Huskies 24-7 and moved up to No. 25 in the poll, released Sunday.

Michigan travels to Michigan State (3-4, 0-4) this coming Saturday for the teams' annual rivalry game at Spartan Stadium (7:30, NBC). The Wolverines opened as 12.5-point favorites on the FanDuel Sportsbook.

Vanderbilt is a top-10 team in college football for the first time since 1947 in an AP poll that got a nearly complete makeover after a weekend when nine Top 25 teams lost.

Ohio State was the only team to hold its spot, remaining No. 1 for an eighth straight week after shutting out Wisconsin 34-0 on the road.
