Former Nepalese Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli on Sunday slammed the Sushila-Karki-led government, accusing them of attempting to arrest him “without grounds.” He claimed that the current dispensation is not serious enough to hold the general elections, which are slated for March 5.
According to The Times of India report, Oli was interacting with reporters and editors in Kathmandu following his ouster from power. He said his party, CPN-UML, would seek the reinstatement of the dissolved House.
Oli said that the Karki government wanted him to be arrested despite there being “no grounds.” He also claimed that the current interim government is not serious enough to conduct the general elections, which are slated for March 5.
