STOCKTON, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa State Patrol says a man was speeding because he was “frustrated about work.”

District 12 Trooper Alex Dodd recently stopped a Corvette speeding at 144 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone of I-280 in Scott County.

The man told Dodd he was frustrated with work and another vehicle on the road.

Iowa State Patrol reminds drivers that being frustrated is not an excuse for speeding.
