Oregon football is rising again in the weekly college football polls.

The Ducks landed at No. 6 in the week nine US LBM Coaches Poll Sunday, Oct. 19, the day after Oregon rebounded from its only loss of the season to rout Rutgers 56-10 .

The loss to Indiana a week ago dropped the Ducks (6-1, 3-1 Big Ten) from No. 2 to No. 9, but they now are the third-highest ranked one-loss team behind No. 4 Alabama (6-1) and No. 5 Georgia (6-1). Fellow Big Ten teams Ohio State and Indiana are 1-2, respectively, with Texas A&M at No. 3. Those three teams are each 7-0.

Oregon also rose from No. 8 to No. 6 in the AP Poll .
