At times it seemed like the Queen’s Gaels would bring it home for Saturday’s Homecoming football game, but in the end, late in the fourth quarter, the Windsor Lancers pierced Queen’s hope for a victory.

Despite the loss, it was a winning spirit that filled Richardson Stadium. Queen’s alumni brandished a collective, celebratory spirit on their special weekend.

While most of the current Queen’s students were gone for reading week, Kingston hosted a more mature Homecoming with alumni clad in Queen’s jackets dating as early as the class of ‘65.

In the bleachers, along the concourse and at the pavilion, it was a resounding victory for reminiscence and nostalgia.
