Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) gestures as Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby (98) looks on during the first quarter of the game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Oct. 19, 2025.

The Las Vegas Raiders are likely going to have to finish their Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs without the services of their best defensive players, Maxx Crosby.

The Raiders announced after halftime Crosby was "doubtful" to return to Sunday's contest while dealing with knee and back injuries.

It wasn't immediately clear when Crosby was hurt during the first half. He did take a shot to the left knee while being blocked low by Chiefs tight end Noah Gray, but the team did not specify whether that was the impetus for his departure from the game.

Meanwhile, Crosby's back injury was pre-existing. He was added to Las Vegas' injury report Friday after being a limited participant because of a back injury. It isn't clear whether he aggravated the injury during Sunday's game.

Before exiting the game, Crosby totaled three tackles. He entered Sunday's game having logged 25 tackles and a team-high four sacks across the Raiders' first six games.

If Crosby can't return to Sunday's game, that will create more opportunities for backups Tyree Wilson and Charles Snowden to see action on the edge.
