In the hopes of fostering a safer environment and expediting security screenings, the Smoothie King Center has banned all bags and purses for the sold-out NBA Youngboy concerts on Sunday and Monday nights.

Typically, small, clear bags are permissible for concerts and sporting events. But not even clear bags will be allowed for the two local stops of the Baton Rouge rapper’s MASA Tour.

According to the Smoothie King Center’s information page for the concerts , only cell phones, keys and wallets/cardholders, all of which must carried “on your person/pockets only.”

The MASA Tour has generated public safety concerns in multiple cities, resulting in some shows be canceled.
