TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said a man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Mount Lemmon on Saturday, Oct. 18.

The PCSD said a pickup truck went off a cliff and fell 40 feet. The PCSD said 66-year-old David McClure, of Pinal County, was the only person in the vehicle and died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the PCSD.

Investigators believe McClure was driving on Arizona State Land Road and failed to make a turn, causing him to drive off the cliff.

The exact cause is still under investigation.
