VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A 16-year-old boy was arrested Saturday night after leading police on a pursuit while driving recklessly away from a party, Visalia police said.
Officers were called to the 4000 block of West Howard Street around 11:20 p.m. to clear out a large party.
While they were there, police say the driver of a lifted Chevrolet pickup began driving recklessly near a crowd of people.
Officers tried to stop the truck, but the driver refused to yield and led them far away from the party.
They pursued him for about three miles until he crashed into another vehicle in the intersection of Cameron Avenue and Mooney Boulevard.
Investigators say no serious injuries were reported.
