Louisville had only lost four games at home over the past two seasons when Pitt volleyball came to L&N Federal Credit Union Arena. One of those was against the Panthers last season. One of those came against SMU on Friday night.

But a program-record performance from Olivia Babcock in kills propelled Pitt to a 3-2 (25-20, 19-25, 20-25, 25-17, 15-11) win — earning the Panthers a dose of revenge after losing to the Cardinals in the 2024 Final Four.
