ORLAND, Calif. - A teenager was shot in an alley between Fourth Street and Fifth Street late on Saturday. The Orland Police Department is investigating the incident.

Officers arrived at the scene after reports of gunfire and found evidence of a shooting. The 16-year-old victim, who was taken to Enloe Hospital by family, sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to the Orland Police Department.

The police are treating the shooting as an isolated case and believe there is no ongoing threat to the public. Anyone with information is urged to contact Sgt. Johnson at the Orland Police Department.
