JASPER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Jasper flight instructor was among three that were killed after a plane crash in Montana this week.
Sanders Aviation in Jasper says Lainey Anderson, a Certified Flight Instructor at Sanders, was on a family vacation in Montana when a twin engine plane that her father was flying developed engine problems and crashed not far from their destination in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
Authorities in Powell County, Montana say the plane dropped off the radar and crashed in a very remote area of Bob Marshall Wilderness where there is no cell signal Friday, Oct. 17 .
Lainey, her sister Ellie, and their father were all killed in the crash.
Sanders Aviation says Lainey was a beloved flight instructor and is asking for prayers for the family.
