GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - An event in Green Bay on Sunday raised money to honor local heroes in northeast Wisconsin while also cheering on the Packers as they played the Arizona Cardinals.

Houses of Honor held its annual Salute to Service event at Stadium View

Houses of Honor provides discount services to veterans, first responders, health care workers, and teachers.

For veterans, it’s also a chance to connect with others and be presented with resources they can use, some of which they may not be aware of.

“As veterans get out of the military, they’re not told what their benefits are, they’re not told what their options are. It’s other veterans and organizations like this that spread the word of what is out there for veterans to do, to help them transition to civilian life,” says Matt K
