EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Panthers quarterback Bryce Young was the last player out of the locker room, his right foot in a boot, and his right Jordan in his left hand.

And when he saw teammate Nic Scourton on his way to the bus, his face brightened, congratulating a teammate on his first NFL sacks after a win that took the entire roster to pull together.

"That's my dog," Young said to Scourton as he went past.

And while they didn't have many specifics about his condition in the moments after the 13-6 win over the Jets on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, there wasn't a sense that it was extreme, and Young's mood after the game suggested that a win made everything feel better.
